Grove Borough Incident

Fire personnel were called to go to their respected stations to stand by
in the borough due to flooding from a tropical weather system. Multiple
calls were coming in for trees down, pump details for flooded
basements, fire police to shut down roads and evacuations in Pine Grove Borough and Washington Township. Crews worked
hard throughout the day, evening and night. An engine and manpower from
Schuylkill Hose also assisted the borough.
Stations Dispatched: 58 Stations 1 and 2 and Schuylkill
Hose.

Fire units were dispatched for a reported automatic fire alarm at the
Hampton Inn. Units arrived on scene to find a bad ballast in the light
on the first floor.
