Date: 09-26-2009                   Vehicle Accident         Washington Township         Incident # 104

 Fire units were dispatched for a motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. A 58 officer arrived on scene to find one vehicle off the roadway and cancelled all units.

Date: 09-23-2009                   Automatic Fire Alarm         Pine Grove Borough         Incident # 103

 Fire units were dispatched for an automatic fire alarm at the Guilford Mills. Chief 58-07 arrived on scene to find a false activation. The probable cause was that there was a water main brake near the facility.

 Fire units were dispatched for to set up a landing zone for an incoming helicopter.

Date: 09-17-2009                    Structure Fire         Pine Grove Township         Incident # 101

 Fire units were dispatched for a reported house fire on Sweet Arrow Lake Road, in Pine Grove Township. Chief 2101 arrived on scene to find no fire but a smoke condition. All units were cancelled except Ladder 58-25.

Date: 09-17-2009                   Fire Police         Pine Grove Borough         Incident # 100

 Fire Police were dispatched to assist Pine Grove Police at the red light for traffic control due to the power grid being shut down. There had been an accident in Pine Grove Township and PP&L needed to make repairs.

Date: 09-11-2009                   Automatic Fire Alarm         Pine Grove Borough         Incident # 99

 Fire units were dispatched for an automatic fire alarm at the Pine Grove Area Elementary School. Chief 58-01 arrived on scene to find smoke in the school. Crews from Engine 58-10 and Ladder 58-25 found that the smoke was coming from the HVAC unit that supplies the office area of the school. Another crew from 58-25 and maintenance personnel went to the roof to check the unit and found a malfunctioning unit. Engine 58-15 stood by at a hydrant ready to lay in if needed and Engines 21-10 and 21-11 stood by with manpower. The crews ventilated the system and the school.
