Date: 06-28-2010        Structure Fire       Pine Grove Township         Incident # 57

Fire units were dispatched for a reported structure fire at the local SPCA in the cat house. As units arrived on scene they found the fire to be out.

Stations Dispatched: 58 Stations 1 and 2, 21 Stations 1 and 2 and Pine Grove EMS.

Date: 06-24-2010         Vehicle Accident       Washington Township         Incident # 56

Fire units were dispatched for a reported motor vehicle accident with unknown injuries. Chief 34-05 arrived on scene and cancelled Rescue 58-50.

Stations Dispatched: 58 Station 1, 34 Station 2 and Pine Grove EMS.

Date: 06-18-2010         Structure Fire       Pine Grove Township         Incident # 55

Fire units were dispatched for a reported house fire. Units arrived on scene to find the fire knocked down.

Stations Dispatched: 58 Stations 1 and 2, 21 stations 1 and 2 and Pine Grove EMS.

Date: 06-13-2010         Tree Down       Washington Township         Incident # 54

Fire units were dispatched for a reported tree down. A firefighter from station 2 arrived on scene to cancel all units.

Stations Dispatched: 58 Stations 1 and 2.

Date: 06-09-2010         Structure Fire       Pine Grove Borough         Incident # 53

Fire units were dispatched for a reported apartment building fire on South Tulpehocken Street. Chief 58-01 arrived on scene to report a working fire with heavy smoke showing. He immediately called for a second alarm. Ladder 58-25 set up in front of the fire building and Engine 58-10 connected to the hydrant at Pottsville & Tulpehocken Streets and laid 5" into the scene. Crews started to quickly vent the roof and started fire suppression. Engine 21-10 was requested to come into the scene with their manpower and Engine 21-11 was sent to Walter Street to hit a hydrant from the rear.

A R.I.T. team from Schuylkill Haven and the City of Pottsville were requested. Some of the Haven R.I.T. was put to work assisting with manpower. Additional companies were requested for manpower.

Stations Dispatched: 58 Stations 1 and 2, 21 Stations 1 and 2 and Pine Grove EMS.

After the fire was under control Schuylkill Hose stood by at 58 Station 1 and 34 Station 2 stood by at 58 Station 2.

Date: 06-06-2010         Structure Fire       Pine Grove Township         Incident # 52

Fire units were dispatched for a reported house fire. Chief 21-03 arrived on scene to report a fully involved house fire and requested a tanker task force. Engine 58-10 was to lay 5" part way into the scene and Engine 58-10 and Ladder 58-25 were then requested to hit the fire with the deck gun and ladder pipe. Engine 58-15 finished laying 5" into the scene from a near by hydrant. A manpower pool was set up with everyone's manpower.
