A chief was requested to assist Pine Grove PD with an odor at a residence.

Units were dispatched for a reported house fire. When units arrived on scene no fire was found.

A chief was requested to check out some low hanging wires.

Date: 02-10-2010         Shelter Assistance        Pine Grove Borough         Incident # 12

Fire personnel were requested to assist with setting up a shelter for the travelers coming off of I81. Due to a heavy snow storm with white out conditions due to heavy snow and heavy winds the governor was shutting down the interstate.

Date: 02-07-2010         Odor Investigation         Pine Grove Borough          Incident # 11

Units were dispatched for an odor of smoke inside a residence. Before units arrived they advised that a pot holder was found smoldering on top of a cooking stove.

Date: 02-03-2010         Structure Fire       Pine Grove Township         Incident # 10

Units were dispatched for a reported structure fire possibly in the walls. When units arrived on scene they found fire coming through the roof of the residence. Crews immediately stared fire suppression. Chief 21-01 called for a tanker task force and addition help.
