due to the Interstate being shut down.

Fire units were dispatched for a possible structure fire. Units arrived
on scene to find a controlled burn behind the residence. All units were
cancelled.

Fire units were dispatched for a reported apartment fire on South
Tulpehocken Street with smoke coming from the first floor. Units arrived
on scene to meet up with Pine Grove PD and were informed from PD that it
was a pot left on the stove and no one is at home. Fire crews check the
rest of the apartment out and it was clear. Crews set up ventilation
fans to clear out the smoke.

Fire units were dispatched for an automatic fire alarm. Chief
58-02 arrived on scene to find that they were fixing a broken sprinkler
head from the night before and they thought that they were still in test
mode. All units cancelled

58-06 arrived on scene to advise that there was a broken sprinkler head.

Station 1 was advised of a pump detail for a flooded basement on South
Tulpehocken Street. A crew took a portable pump to the residence and was
on scene for about 1 hour and 45 minutes.

Fire police were dispatched to South Tulpehocken Street and Maple
Street to close down South Tulpehocken Street do to flooding. The
officers from both borough fire companies started to drive through the
borough to find more flooded streets.

Road and Saw Mill Road. It was reported that one vehicle went over an

Fire units were dispatched for a tree down and blocking 60 Hetzel's
Church Road. Chief 58-06 arrived on scene to find a tree down on the
telephone wires and power lines down with some of the tree blocking the
road. Crews from both 58 stations cut up the tree.

Fire units were dispatched for a reported motor vehicle accident with
unknown injuries. Chief 34-05 arrived on scene to find no injuries.
Rescue 58-50 cancelled the call.

Fire units were dispatched to a reported barn fire. Chief 21-01 arrived
on scene to find a working fire. Personnel from Ladder 58-25 and Engine
58-15 started the initial attack. Engine 58-10 Went to Sweet Arrow Lake
to set up for water supply. Rescues 58-50 and 21-50, some personnel from
Engines 58-10 and 21-10 assisted with fire suppression and overhaul.

Stations 1 and 2, Pine Grove EMS.
Schuylkill Hose was moved up to the borough for a
cover assignment.
